Speech and Language Services

A treatment plan is developed for each child based upon his or her particular delays and disabilities. Therapy may take the form of structured play activities or more formal exercises. At NJ Steps, we regularly assess your child’s progress and adapt our treatment methods and goals to ensure your child’s success. Parent counseling and training are provided so that parents may be active participants in the treatment process. Children are given assignments for home practice in order to build upon and generalize new skills learned in the controlled therapeutic setting.
